Territory Manager
Fecon is looking for a Territory
Manager. This person would be responsible for the selling of land clearing
equipment and construction equipment attachments to land clearing contractors
and construction equipment dealers. This job would a home based position with
regular travel.
You would be responsible for building relationships; both setting up new
relationships, and nurturing existing relationships with our dealers and
customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing sales targets
among land clearing contractors. We will pass on some hot leads, but being able
to make new contacts is also required.
Product testing and operation training is a crucial part of this position.
Skills Required:
The knowledge of heavy equipment/construction equipment is helpful
Two years experience in construction equipment sales is helpful, but not
mandatory
Computer literate
Strong work ethic
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Physical ability to safely climb onto and around the equipment
Knowledge and physical ability to safely drive and operate machinery

Mechanical Design Engineer
The mechanical engineer will be
responsible for new product development activities and assisting the lead
project engineer in day to day project activities. The activities will include
responsibilities of mechanical system design of Fecon products, as well as the
implementation of designs. This position includes (but is not limited to) the
following responsibilities along with the primary responsibility of subsystem
design as well as complete product design utilizing 3D design software. Five
plus years experience preferred.
Uses computer-assisted engineering software to design, develop, and/or modify
products, applying engineering principles.
Prepares product or system layouts, detailed manufacturing drawings and
schematics.
Determines feasibility of designs considering costs, time limitations, planning,
and other technical and economic factors.
Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data
pertaining to design.
Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to
determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing
facilities and methods.
Confers with research and other engineering personnel and prepares design
modifications as required.
Evaluates engineering test results for possible application to development of
systems or other uses.
Engineering and Technology
BS in mechanical engineering required.
Three to five years experience preferred.
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the
design and production of various Products.
Skills Required
Strong ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of BOM’s.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Software skills: Solid Works or Solid Edge; AutoCAD is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Physical ability to safely climb onto and around the equipment.
Knowledge and physical ability to safely drive and operate the machinery.

Shop Service Technician
The Shop Service Technician serves
conducts repairs and updates on Fecon equipment. Visiting customer sites
to make repairs, address service problems to determine service and parts
needs, and working with parts, service and engineering to fulfill the
customer’s requirements is the bulk and main area of responsibility.
The Shop Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing
equipment in house and in the field. Extensive mechanical and hydraulic ability
in the mobile equipment industries is required. This can include skid steers,
excavators, forestry equipment, fork trucks, semi-trucks, and more. If you are
someone that likes to get their hands dirty working on machines, we would like
to hear from you. Automotive experience is generally not enough.
Requirements:d needed services and parts in remote locations.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to MIG or flux core weld.
Excellent people skills working with a diverse set of customers and
dealers is a must.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
